I think k they have new products and sections and I love it! I haven't spent a bough time here to be able to say whether service is good or not, but I know their staff is efficient and does the job! ”

“ Large Asian grocery store with diverse selection of goods. Everything is well stocked and organized, but I hear it's on the expensive side. Parking is a hassle, you have to spend $20 to get free parking. In today's economy that should be a breeze but it's still sucks the fun out of free parking lol ”

“ A very first visit to this specific Uwajimaya location in Washington State! Ample amount of parking spaces, though you have to get a parking ticket to enter while driving... The store itself is spacious, with a nice variety of baked goods, beauty products, drinks, food, meat, produce, etc. There is a small Food Court and Deli area as well. Saw a Bubble Tea place, a Japanese Fish Waffle joint, a place to get Poke Bowls, and a few others. The store also included some tasty pre-made meals available for purchase - Rice Bowls, Spam Musubi, and Sushi, along with pre-made Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwiches. In addition, you'll find a good selection of Chinese, Japanese and Korean snacks and instant Ramen Noodles! They have the XL Buldak Spicy Ramen, too! Costs like $11 a bowl!! The Check-out process was easy and encountered a very amicable customer service rep who provided great care and attention. Overall, we enjoyed our shopping experience at this store today (3/17/25)! ”

“ Amazing Japanese supermarket that has been my wife's favorite when she lived here years ago. So many great Japanese and Asian items as well as a great selection of alcoholic beverages which made it a great tailgating spot before a Seahawks game as we had some mochi donuts and taiyaki waffles from the food court. We then went to their wonderful bookstore to buy some gifts. We cannot wait to return, and who knows, maybe one year we we live upstairs at Uwajimaya Village. ”

“ One of the best grocery stores in Seattle. Produce is always on point. Organized store and off street parking validated with purchase for 2 hrs. Must stop on the bookstore. There's even great dining options in the food hall area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quick checkout lines. Incredible selection of Japanese, other Asian foods and standard staples too. Check out their sushi section as well as unique cuts of meat. Love the shopping as well. Think of Fred Meyer but with style, character and Japanese style. ”

“ Uwajimaya has had a big interior remodel since we first started coming here. The two side stores have changed (that's old news but still) and it's a chocolate place and something else I can't remember now (Sorry). The floor plan has widened, it feels like, for food items, although they still have non-food on the right/north side. Gigantic selection. You really could spend hours in here. Parking validation of 2 hours if you spend 20 dollars. Even so parking is reasonable. The cashiers are always very helpful and nice. We like to grab their ready-to-eat savory and sweet items and occasional ingredients for cooking. They also have a very nicely laid out liquor section with focus on sake. ”

“ This supermarket and their indoor butcher were extremely well priced and had a wide selection of everything I needed. Meat was perfectly salted and quick service to go, was able to get my food within 5 minutes. Definitely check out the boba and bookstore nearby. $20 groceries for free 2 hr validated parking also. ”

“ The store is clean and bright, and everything is well-organized, making it easy to navigate. It's also super convenient since it's located right by the bus and light rail station. As expected, they have a great selection of Asian ingredients, but what I really like is their sushi and sashimi station--it's perfect for a quick bite. They also have some tasty hot grab-and-go meals if you're in a rush. I was working in the area and stopped by for lunch, then swung by again after work to check out the Chinese food section. I spotted the roasted crispy pork on display (I believe it was $14.99 per pound), so I grabbed 2 lbs to take home. It stayed crispy for a good portion of the day. Oh, and if you're into Sonny Angels, Uwajimaya occasionally restocks them at their Renton location, but the Seattle store is much larger overall. ”

“ Fantastic Asian grocery store in Chinatown/the International District of Seattle. It feels like this store could have anything and everything that you're looking for, from rare spices and fresh meats and seafoods to all kinds of Asian snacks and beauty products - and it doesn't hurt that there's a food court-type area at one end. Reasonable prices on all items and great deals on things like produce and other Asian culinary staples. Friendly and efficient service as well, and I love that there are some "bonus" store sections (like ROYCE' Chocolate). This place can really cover all your needs - love it. ”
